The PTA Purpose is to...

  • To promote the welfare of children & youth in home, school, community & place of worship

  • To raise the standards of home life

  • To secure adequate laws for the care & protection of children & youth 

  • To bring into close relation the home & the school, that parents & teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children & youth

  • To develop between educators & the general public such united efforts that will secure for all children & youth the highest advantages in physical, mental & spiritual education


PTA DUES: $10.00 (for an individual)  $15.00 (for a family)

If you aren't ready to be a member of our PTA, we'd still love your help as a volunteer!


As a volunteer, your services to City Schools are in a volunteer capacity without any expressed or implied promises of employment. Some volunteer opportunities may require you to submit to additional background screening. Should you have any questions or concerns about becoming a volunteer, please stop by the school's office.

  • American Education Week

  • Assemblies

  • Book Fair 

  • Field Trips

  • Dramatic Reading

  • After School Activities

  • Inside the Classroom

  • Field Day

  • Cafeteria 

  • Recess

  • Morning Entry/Dismissal

  • 8th Grade Closing

  • PreK/K Closing
