-principal protagonist

Ms Douglas has been the principal of Woodhome since 2010. She began her career as an educator as a science teacher at Diggs Johnson Middle School. Ms Douglas then went on to teach at Roland Park Elementary Middle where she became the academic coach and mentor teacher. Her first job as a principal was as an assistant principal at Arlington Elementary Middle School.

After graduating from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 1986 Ms Douglas attended Morgan State University. In 1992 she received her Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from Morgan. After teaching for a few years Ms Douglas joined the Baltimore Metropolitan JUSTICE Unity Generosity Service International Incorporated in 1998 and because a member of Delta Sigma Theta in 2005. She went on to receive her Master's of Science in Administration and Supervision from Goucher College in 2006.

When not being a principal & educator, Ms Douglas enjoys reading, bicycling, shopping, and interior decorating.
